Void ore, much like fae iron in New World, is a rare drop from a common mining deposit. However, there are things players should keep in mind when searching for this rare resource. Planning ahead can be a huge aid to players looking for void ore. How to farm Void ore in New World If you want to farm Void ore in New World, you will need to put on your best mining luck gear. You have two choices of mining tools, Starmetal Mining Pick, or use an Orichalcum pick if you can afford it or have the spare Orichalcum knocking around. Ideally, you’ll want a mining pick that has luck on it, so you have more chance of acquiring some of that precious Void ore. There are currently three miner’s charms in the game: Steel Miner’s Charm (3%-9.4% More Mining Experience) Starmetal Miner’s Charm (2%-9.3% Increased Chance at Finding Rare Items) Orichalcum Miner’s Charm (10%-19% Increased Yield from Mining) Using these charms when crafting will give you the Miner’s Luck perk to your pickaxe. The Miner’s Luck perk does not affect Equipment and Item drops, it only affects the drop rate of the Rare Resources associated with the resource being gathered. These rare resources will be discussed in the next section of the Complete New World Mining Guide. One other option players have is to buy void ore from a trading post. However, because of its rarity, the price of the item is likely to be high. After finding the ore, it's time for players to become master blacksmiths. In New World, you need coins for everything. You need coins to purchase items such as weapons, armor, potions, food, and houses. You can earn New World Coins from quests, expeditions, wars, invasions, and other activities. However, especially for beginners, it takes an awful lot of time to acquire enough New World coins. You can buy New World gold from z2u.com.
